Bristol Stomp

February 1 - 2

We're very pleased to welcome an exciting line-up to the Bristol Stomp stage for 2025!

Big R Big Band

Saturday night

Now established as one of the UK’s favourite dance big bands, Big R are facilitators of SWING.

Led from the front by Bristol's best dressed drummer, Richie Paradise, the 16 piece big band have a great eye for dance charts and staying off the dance floor will be near impossible!

So if you’re a lunatic for Lindy, go crazy for Shag, can’t get enough Balboa, or are desperate for some Duke or Basie, Big R have got you covered.

This band are Savoy savvy.

Dashing, debonair, dandy and dapper, the classic swing tunes of the 30's and 40's are sounding, and looking, pretty damn good.

Event timings: 7pm - 11.30pm

Sunday tea dance

Sunday is set to be equally as thrilling with swing machine Marvin Muoneke and his band Big Marv and the City Slickers.

An award-nominated musician Marvin has been receiving fantastic rounds of applause wherever and whenever he sings - be it in concert halls, with Down for the Count or in Jazz clubs up and down the country. We are very lucky to see him return to the folk house after the tea dance two years ago became legendary.

Jazz is Marvin’s forte and this time he’s bringing some jump jive to boot!

Event timings: 2pm - 6pm
