Swing at the Folk House returns with the wonderful JP & Capitol Swing.
If you haven’t seen John and his band lighting up stages across the south west then now’s your chance!
Stalwarts of the Jazz scene in Bristol, we’re really pleased to be welcoming them for a long awaited night of swing and jazz classics.
Moonlighting
This fantastic five piece is back for a return visit! Sure to be a buzzing evening with tunes great for Lindy, Shag, Balboa and Jive. This is their latest incarnation as Moonlighting, previously Honeymoon Swing, who are strong favourites in Bristol and are set to play a host of festivals this summer.
Barrel House Vipers
The Barrel House Vipers, is comprised of some of the best players on the UK Jazz and Swing scene. They have toured Europe, America and extensively across the UK specialising in early jazz and blues from the 1920’s to the 1940’s.
The band have a unique offering of rich vocal harmony, original arrangements and repertoire drawing from: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong as well as lesser known hidden gems.
