If you are feeling unwell or you have tested positive for covid, we'd ask you to refrain from coming to the event on that occasion.
Parking is available at the back of Bristol Council House or Trenchard Street multi-storey. Occasional pay as you go spaces can be found on nearby streets via the Ringo parking app.
We won't be offering refunds unless we have to cancel an event as a whole.
Yes. We are happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else up to 24 hours before an event and let us know who you have swapped with.
We won’t be managing ticket swaps or transferring tickets to subsequent events but you can post on Bristol Swing Dancers facebook group page to find someone to swap with.
Please let Jess or Simon know who you have swapped with.
We don’t operate a waiting list as it involves a lot of admin for two volunteers.
If an event has sold out then there are normally a few people looking to sell their ticket close to the time. People often post either looking for a ticket or looking to swap in Bristol Swing Dancers FB page or Bristol Swing Dancers whatsapp group.
There is often photography or video taken at our events, which may be used to publicise further swing nights.
Please let Simon or Jess know if you don’t want your photo taken on the night.

Attendance at the event isn’t a guarantee that you’ll have your photo taken.
The Folk House has a no talc policy
There will be a limited number of separate tickets but these will be on a first come, first serve basis.
We run Swing at the Folk House at Bristol Folk House, 40a Park St, Bristol BS1 5JG via the Culver Street entrance.
We run St Bon's Hop at St Bonaventures Community Centre in Bishopston, north Bristol. This is a social on the northern side of the city outside of the congestion zone.
Bristol Stomp is held as a double bill at Bristol Folk House at the end of January.
Our events are led by demand and have no set timetable.
Yes we love live music to dance to and believe it's key to the lindy hop scene in Bristol :-)
